oh yeah - i've offically survived an earthquake! around 5 am a few days ago. 4.5 on the scale i think.

so life is good. ak is beautiful. my best friend and roommate is being petty over groceries, and subsequently mad. so i stood up for myself. and anger arises. whatever - they are entitled to their own feelings. and i to mine.

Today I recieved my financial aid info. Eh, a little decrease. So now I have to figure out how to come up with $6,000 out of pocket. Plus, you know, the living expenses of a city. Urggg I hate thinking about this.

i wanted to describe last night, but i think words will just cheapen it.

We took a nap together. A simple one, where both of us really weren't sleeping and just kept scooting in towards each other, closer on the bed, and holding hands. So I was thinking about it... and he gave up a free ticket to the first final playoff hockey game yesterday, just to go to the golf driving range with me. gosh I like this one.

We're all going down camping on the Kenai pennisula / Homer this weekend for the first weekend of the King Salmon season. It's all about the fishing and beer drinking =)

AK so far is great, Anchorage is pretty damn beautiful. I head towards the water to go to work, and I head for the mountains when I'm on my way home. I wish I could stay in the present, and not always wish I was somewhere else. But my heart is torn in so many directions that my mind wandering is inevitable. within the past three days, i've submitted over 35 pages of writing on Hindu goddesses, US-Cuban relations, and the economic affects of marijuana legalization. I am now done with my first year of collegeee...well after 3 exams next week. =/

i'm running on minimal sleep. but a beer in the shower and some clean sheets does a body good.

Realizing and accepting it gives me the strength and courage to keep going. I am trying to work on it every waking minute of my days.

One of the best moments of my life so far occured over spring break, and it involved the night, a beachside apartment roof, virginia slims, and good people. I love you girls and I can't wait until we are reunited ( Read more... )
