So, I've apparently taken a vacation to Canada but a Canada populated entirely by Japanese and (weirdly) Australians. I'm in Nagano, which is very snowy and a little chilly. Sounds like fun, despite dislocated shoulders, low stamina, etc. And awesome that you met someone else who shares your interests! :)

You are really brave for skiing - I don't think I could do it. Heck, I get freaked out toboganning...
