I've been really bad about checking my phone messages lately. My new(ish) cell phone doesn't remind me that I have messages beyond the first announcement. i hate hate hate voice mail messages. people who truly know me know to not even leave messages because then my phone somehow erases the number and just gives me the number for my voice mail inbox. and then i'm forced to go through all the bullshit of checking my messages. so i usually only check voice mail once a week, and people who don't know that have to deal with it. which kind of sucked, though, for me the other day when a bunch of job prospects called me and filled my inbox and i waited a few days to check the messages. good thing none of them were good enough jobs to take.
