Anakin froze. For the first time in his life, his instant-reaction impulse had failed him.

He had too many people to save.

He frantically ticked on his grandbabies, using his fingers to count. Padme should be fine but I don't know, Leia may be stubborn enough to try and help people, Allanan and Amelia are too small...

His mind made up, he made a hole the nearest wall (lol the Force) and began searching for his nearest and dearest.

There was a hole in the wall. This gave Teal'c a good indication as to Anakin's whereabouts.

"Anakin Skywalker?" He called. "We must evacuate immediately!"

Anakin's hair was plastered to his skull with sweat. There were bits of masonry stuck in it.

"NO!!" the crazy eye was present and in full force. "I CANNOT FIND MY GRANDCHILDREN."

"Your children are wise!" Teal'c shouted, hoping that Skywalker's pride would override his paranoia. "They have most likely already left!"

Lee stirred at the warning sirens, what the frak? Apparently last night had not been a good night to tie one on, as the Earthers seemed to refer to it. Looking around he tired to remember if Kara had been with him. She was usually pretty good at beating him in the drinking game, although he'd never admit that. He honestly couldn't remember. Gods that was bad because he couldn't remember what had prompted such a monumental bout of intoxication either.

Not seeing her he stumbled out into the corridor holding his hands over his ears to try to cut down on the horrendous noise. At least his warrior instincts had stood him well when he'd arrived. He'd scoped out his emergency egress immediately. Then again the layout of this place wasn't exactly static. Still that was his best shot for the start given how hung over he was.

Luna gathered her crafting supplies and books into a bundle in her arms. She was running toward the exit, but the red lights were... pretty.

She stopped, smiled at everything tinted deep rose, and reluctantly continued running.

By the time Draco arrived at Luna's location, he was fairly out of breath. He hadn't even had quiddich here to keep him in shape in the past year.

"Luna!" he panted, pausing at her side.

Remus came up behind Draco, faring much better than he was, physically.

"Hello, Luna," he said smiling. It was pleasant to see her--she was easier to like than Draco was. "We can catch up on old times outside, away from these blasted lights and noise."

Remus was maintaining composure but wanted to get the kids out of there immediately and didn't want to waste time chatting about nargles.

Luna's grin widened at the sight of her two comrades. She waved excitedly at both.

"I was making some dream catchers for you two! I can finish up on the top, I suppose."

That was bad. That was really, really bad. Thankfully for Hawkeye his feet were much faster on the uptake than his brain, and were already making with as much speed as they could toward the exit. Deep down he just knew he'd be rebuilding his clinic again. Someday he'd have on that lasted more than six months.

Kyle's first thought after the alarm was who was stupid enough to attack this place anymore. The second thought was where the hell was Anakin? "Oh kriff!" he shouted as he ran through the corridors looking for his ward. There were only so many places he could be. Either on the couch at home, or right in the middle of whatever this latest trouble was.

Jaina darted out from the garden, lightsaber lit and in hand. The purple glow contrasted with the red, illuminating Kyle as she came to a halt in front of him.

"What the kriff is going on, Master Katarn?"

"No idea beyond it can't be good. I was just going to find Anakin, and help who I could." Stepping back he let some of the base's emergency personnel by him. "You haven't seen him have you?"

Reluctantly, she switched off her lightsaber. Rather than clipping it back to her belt, she kept it tight in her hand.

If something happened, Jaina knew she'd need it.

"No. I haven't seen Ameilia or Allana either. They'll need help, won't they?"
