Avengers or Downton Abbey?

We have a FREE night! We just got the first disk of the first season of Downton Abbey from Netflix.

Do we:

Go to the theater to see The Avengers with the opening night crowd

Stay home and watch Downton Abbey on DVD.

You go to AVENGERRRRS because it's great and opening night crowds are the most fun.

You stay home and go to Avengers on Sunday when . . . oh, wait, kids will GO TO THIS, the Sunday crowds will be worse than the Friday night ones. Well. I'm going next week, maybe. :)

Hmmmm...see, this totally doesn't work with me, because I'd never watch Downtown Abby. And Jeremy Renner and Chris Evans? Is there a second choice? I think not. (grin)
