Tonia and I both went and got fillings today. They did the right side of my jaw. -

left the hospital today and entered Seabrook. We were able to check on our house for the first time since the mandatory evacuation. Amazingly, there was no damage whatsoever - while businesses and houses a mere halfmile away no longer exist. Tonia and I will transition back to the house tomorrow but probably won't have power for a week. -

Evacuated to clear lake hospital from seabrook. Have heard second hand reports that our home was not hit by the storm surge. No idea whether roof or windows stood up to the winds. Clear Lake hospital has been running on back up generator power since ike hit. It is the only operational hospital in the region and is running on a skeleton crew. Today ( Read more... ) -

June 9th
Went into grand mal seizure at about 5am Sunday morning 06.08.08. I have little to no memory of it happening but I do recall the pain after I woke up from it. Tonia said that I woke up screaming holding the back of my head and my right arm was contracted. The previous seizures I have experiencedd were always preceded by loss of control ( Read more... ) -

Not too long ago I mentioned to a friend of mine (Brad Slack) that I am a Cubs fan. I don't follow the standings regularly like I did as a kid but I still have hopes that someday they'll break the hundred year dry spell.
