[When Kurt appears on the network, he's still kind of startled from when he woke up and realized he was somehow still in one piece, and back in his bedroom. He...wasn't in the best mental state during the event, but he's pretty sure he didn't survive that one ( Read more... )

Don't you have six hundred scarves?

It's closer to five hundred. All of them are completely unique and essential to my overall wardrobe, and there's one missing.

[Kurt Hummel is the definition of first world problems.]

Poor baby. How can I help?

Oh wait, I don't really care that much.

[Sweeeetest of smiles!]

Then why are you here?

[Eyeroll.]

No clue, Hummel.

[She's going through the same stuff. She's clearly still out of it.]

And I haven't seen your scarf.

It's fine - Blaine found it, but thank you anyway.

...Are you okay, Coach Beiste?

[Kurt was a mess at the time, but he kind of vaguely remembers a lot of people exploding, Coach Beiste being one of them. He'll be sort of embarrassed if he's wrong about that though.]

[She's staring off into space...

What?

Oh.]

Uh, what? Sorry? Zoned out there.

I asked if you were okay. ...Which you apparently aren't.

You probably exploded into orange soda like some of the guys. Then we were let out and there was an ocean of the stuff.

[Blunt, Marceline.]

It was pretty creepy.

That's still probably the most disgusting, horrifying thing I've heard about this event. There was an ocean of liquid corpses.

[He's a little green at the thought - ew, ew, ew!]

And it wasn't even red! Orange is totally useless, I can't drink that.

...Not that I would. Just saying.

[He stares, horrified at the mere suggestion of it. It doesn't matter that she wouldn't; she said it and now that's all he can see. He could use some brain bleach to make the mental image go away.]

Um. ...Drink?

Hell if I know. To both of those things.

[He looks a bit confused, since he's still trying to figure out what exactly went on.]

That's understandable. I wouldn't have expected you to keep track of my accessories.

[It's not even really meant as a shot - he just would have been sincerely surprised if Puck had grabbed it.]

Did you...?

[It kind of trails off there. What he really means is "Are you okay? Did you survive the event?" but it feels almost too personal to ask.]

Yeah, 'cause I totally have other stuff to be keeping track of.

[Nothing comes to mind right now but that's not important.]

Did I what?

][He thinks he knows what Kurt's after. He just doesn't know how to say it, so he's just going to play dumb.]

Of course. Like all of the terrible items of clothing you own, for example.

[He kind of eyes Puck for a second, trying to decide if he should go there...and then abruptly decides not to.]

Nothing. I forgot what I was going to ask.

[And with that, he spares Puck having to talk about real people feelings and dying, and privately decides that Puck should probably be grateful.]
