So, I decided to make a three-part mix of Hermione, one part solely for her, one for her relationship with Harry and one for her relationship with Ron. This is the latter. I actually had a lot of fun with this particular one. I think the best part of this relationship is that its a bit of a double-edged sword, they're both so fiery and frustrating

Oh I really like this! Especially the camera obscura song (also I think the tone of it really suits them). And ohmyGOD I love My Mathematical Mind so much I'd take a bullet for it.

And cool 3-part mix idea - it sounds like a fun challenge! I'm working on a 5 part Harry/Ginny thing and it's a bit ridiculous but so much fun. Harry Potter really just begs to be set to indie rock.

Thanks, heh. I really do love this fandom, but most of the time I stay so far away from it because it all boils down to shipping most of the time, and in the worst ways. So I felt like in doing this mix, I could further cement the fact that the relationship of the trio itself (or, in this case, the trio from Hermione's POV) is more important than simple, romantic, fleeting pairings, you know? Or something. I was just in a weird Hermione mood.

Yeah, I would agree with that. But I always find it hard to make a non-romantic mix just because there are way less non-romantic songs that are still character specific.

Oh, yeah, definitely, it's why the Hermione mix is going last because I don't feel confident enough about it at the moment, while the more 'shippy 'discs' were much easier to complete, heh.
