you know at first i was all ready to be impressed with you for writing that entire entry and be in complete disbelief that you would do the research to write that entry. then i read what you said again... and again till i finally understood that your contribution was just adding the link between the two entries. well, congratulations joel. i'm still proud of you. you have made the internet easier to search and my information easier to obtain. thank you. i will forever remember you. :p

I thought what I said was pretty clear. I'm not that altruistic. I mean, come on. Writing that "mouse" entry? That dude should get the nobel prize!

I must say, Joel, that I think you did a disservice to the online community. I'm sure you'll disagree, but you have made the world a more confusing place, and cluttered a page with a link that should never be used.

See, the different kinds of mice are what the disambiguation page is for in Wikipedia. If you were looking for a computer mouse, and you came across the animal mouse page, you were supposed to click on the disambiguation page which would give you all the other options for mouse pages. Now we have a piece of Joel-logic in Wikipedia, and it may result in a catastrophic failure of the entire system.

Sigh.
