Hey! too bad about the computer. But good news on the "christopher" front i guess (for you that is. even tho i havent talked to him recently...i have a feeling about it). Call me B/c i don't have your number.

During the lightning storm I turned it on, BIG MISTAKE, and I come back and it smells like my house is on fire, its fried, I turn it on and it says, "Its working check video PC cable", but that doesn't help too much. If you have any ideas I'll take em. haha Thanks! :)

i do actually. You should have your computer plugged into a APC Back-Up generator at all times, that way in the storms, it won't get fryed, all power will be saved into this generator, hell you can even run the computer for hours after all power to your house has been shut off and thats alwayas cool haha...

It sounds to me like your PC is fine, but the monitor is toast. Get a new monitor, then see what happens. Good luck!
