[The figure of a woman appears in the long shadows cast by the City’s many buildings. For a moment, she is little more than a shadow within shadows, identifiable only by the faint glint of golden eyes. She steps out into the midafternoon sun, blonde hair radiant, and slips a pair of sunglasses over nearly-closed eyes.

He spots a lovely young woman, looking about as lost as he had felt upon first arriving. Newcomers have to stick together, right? He approaches the woman with a friendly smile.]

[The friendly smile is not returned, but Lulu Bell dips her head slightly to acknowledge the man's existence. A dottering old human... no worse than the rest of his race.]

[It isn't said coldly, but it's not the sort of 'no' that welcomes further conversation. Remembering her manners, she forces the tiniest of smiles and adds:]
