Concerts...

I'm sick of music festivals I think. Sasquatch 2009 will be the last one I attend. I have no idea why...Concerts as a whole have just become not super important to me anymore. Maybe because I work at a music venue, and am around it multiple days a week. There are few shows I feel like really going to these days...And it's usually just bands I know

Yeah I grew out of the whole concert thing a while back... but I think the best part about one of those trips is being with your friends. Social experience!

But yeah as much as I love NiN I just don't think it's important enough for me to go more than 200 miles to see them live. People put way too much value in seeing bands live I think... I mean alot of bands can put on amazing shows but 95% of the time the band plays better on the CD than they do in person. Hell I've even heard live NiN songs that sound like garbage. Some songs just aren't meant to be played on-stage.

It's just that this is NIN's farewell tour. Trent is getting married and they are done after this. The websites even have "NIN, 1989-2009, RIP" shit everywhere... :(

I'm sure they will be back at some point, but fuck.
