I have nothing really to say today, but maybe tomorrow. You can never know. Today in class I cloned a gene from yeast cells into a plasmid that I then induced into a strain of E. coli which I hope will grow, replicate, and pass on the yeast gene to their next generation. One thing to say about Scotland: It is very sexy.

I went to France last weekend. The best thing that I did was pick up a rock out of the sands at Omaha beach in Normandy. A nice item for my desk at school.
