Nikola Tesla was working.
Not that this was a rare occurrence, but when Tesla started to wrap his mind around a problem in order to solve it, it usually meant that the scientist would refuse to see anyone else. Hey, he loved working alone. Without any distractions to hinder him in his progress, he was free to go along his way without a single care for what anyone else had to say.
That is, if "anyone else" wasn't Helen Magnus. Even though getting interrupted was almost a pet peeve of Tesla's, he knew he could never stay angry for long if his friend and colleague would come around to share her input on his work.
And so, he still stayed focused on the task at hand- building a gun of sorts that would disable the super-soldiers the Cabal had created- but he knew that sooner or later, Helen would come to go and check on his progress. And that was alright.
After all, he thought, Magnus was the only person who could really understand what went on in his mind.
