Filling in the gap in the wall seems to have stopped the ant problem. Thank you, Renji. I can't help wondering where they're finding food now, though. Is there such a thing as a creature too small to feel guilty about? There are monks who sweep the ground in front of them as they walk to make sure they don't tread on insects, so I suppose not. Or,

I can't quite recall who said it, but it was something like, "Only when we are no longer afraid do we begin to live." Silly for a little bug problem perhaps, but food for thought. Sometimes you just gotta move past what scares ya.

That or hire an exterminator.
