September Meme, Days 11 & 12

It's Saturday! It's also mid-September. I feel like I am constantly amazed at the realisation that so much of the year has passed.

The meme questions for yesterday and today are:

Yes, it is not a year that will be remembered fondly my many.

Heee. I don't 'do' hair styles, either - it's long and it hangs there and it's clean, ta da! The best i can get is winding it up into a bun to stick through with sticks when it's hot/in my way. Or braiding at night to keep it out of the way.

I don't mind my picture being taken. I look like i look, and a picture just - freezes that in a moment, so....whatever. I like seeing all the pictures from when we all were kids and such, with my parents and all. I'm glad to have those.

I do get my hair cut because I don't like how it looks when long and I am lucky in knowing the guy who cuts it, because he always does a really good job.

I take a terrible photo - it always seems to catch me at the most unflattering moment possible and I'm nearly always squinting. *g*

Well you know the main experiment with my hair at the moment is letting it grow and letting it go grey! :)

Yeah, even when asked to pose, I mess it up *g*

It's interesting how your longer hair makes you look younger. I suspect if I allowed mine to grow, it would just make me look messier *g*

It's very hard to imagine a year where so much has happened (externally) and so little internally to most of us lucky ones. Days wash by in memory, with not a lot to snag, really!

I have a feeling my hairstyle hasn't changed in 20 years - since the day I got fed up with it being blown around by the wind, or permanently needing to be tied up, and had it cut from about nipple length to 2" all over.

Inside my own head I am actually exceedingly photogenic. *grins*
