I am beginning to suspect someone else is cleaning my street, as well as me. The day before yesterday I came home late-ish (almost dark) and noticed that the wind had brought in a lot of rubbish and someone had also spilt a whole load of large sequin-like discs in the gutter. It's great. I only go up and down the street every other day or so, normally, and I was anticipating a full carrier bag that day. A few sequiny discs and some cigarette butts and that was all.

I think some people do choose friends by gender. I think that question is a bit like the supposition that just because you're the same gender as a sibling you're going to get on. Not the case at ALL!

Good for you with your litter picker. Now I want one for when I go walking as I often find plastic bottles strewn about.....

I got in in one of the pound shops and it's very good at picking up even the smallest bits of rubbish.
