Where has the first week of February gone? I swear, I only blinked.
1. What are your favourite indoor activities?
Can I say, doing as little as possible? As with most of these questions, it depends upon mood. I do spend a lot of time pootling about on the computer, playing spider solitaire and mahjong. I also enjoy knitting while watching television. I read a lot.
But I also enjoy DIY and decorating. Making things and sorting stuff (although that last definitely needs the right mood
)
2. What are you favourite outdoors activities?
Cycling, I think. It strikes me as a good medium speed way to travel - slow enough to see and enjoy the scenery, but fast enough to get where you want to go in a reasonable time. But walking is good too - just not up mountains. I am no hiker.
3. How do you feel about plastic surgery?
Done for good reason, I approve and applaud - repairing a face damaged in an accident, for example. Making 'normal' a cleft lip or other congenital condition.
I have a bit more of a problem with things like facelifts. But I also have to recognise that people don't put themselves under the knife unless they have a strong need. And that would involve mental health needs, so I don't judge.
I do worry a little about the current fashion for botox, though.
4. What responsibilities do you think the media have, if any?
To be fair and balanced in their reporting and these days to sense check before reporting.
5. What is your take on organ donation?
I am, and have been since I reached maturity, on the organ donor register, just as I have been a blood donor since I was 18.
6. What do you think about hunting?
For food? No problem. For trophies? Stupid and senseless.
