Who was talking about the AlphaSmart?
There was someone on my FL from a looong time ago that was talking about their experiences with the AlphaSmart stuff, probably the 3000 vs the newer models. I'm curious what your (and anyone elses) thoughts are on them

i remember thinking about getting one. but ended up getting a NEC handheld. TheBad picked up one about 1yr ago for 1/2 the price off an ebay auction. He loves it but dropped it the other day.. screen is screwed up now.
have you seen the new EEE PC? I would say a better buy than the Alphasmart. bigger screen.
