Prefecting is so much extra work! I have to spend half my free time walking around the building checking on people? This is so lame. Jake, how do you DO this every year?

Uh...it's cake.
You walk around and when someone's doing something stupid, you tell them that and fix it. Takes no time and then you're back to doing whatever pointless shite you were doing before.

But what about OWLs?! Don't those actually count for something? Will I have time to prepare for them with prefecting?

I aced most my OWLs (the ones I cared about anyway), played Quidditch, did the prefect thing, dealt with my baby sister, and kept up with my girlfriend and my girl on the side.

Trust me, you can do it. So long as you don't turn into a mental case this early.
