Use the handle of a knife to hit the side of the jar's lid in the direction it needs to be turned to open. That's how I usually have to open jars.

lol. after a lil bit of starring at it with puppy eyes, i think it took pity on me and decided to open afetr the bilionth time.. ^_^
ill remember that for next time though. XD
