I feel sorry for you, man. A year ago I was bidding on a Fender and it came down to the last few seconds. I beat him... and I was proud because it was a fierce battle. I wonder if someone blogged about me after that happened.

I've had it happen to me. Once I even went down stairs one night when I had been sleeping to keep that from happening to me, (which someone DID try to.)

I have to say I've one that way before too.

That's how people try to win for the cheapest amount.

But I find it easier, & lil' less stressful to bid your highest bid the 1st time, & it could be cheaper that way sometimes. But, that makes it even worse when you're outbid. It seems to me if you really want something, you keep bidding, even when you really don't want to. Maybe you'll be able to get it cheaper one day?!...
