Too much, not good

So, my wages aren't getting raised, but the bus rate is going up $10. My rent is going up something like $12, and God alone knows what else is getting increased. How am I supposed to make it like this? I thought that, because of the economy, they weren't allowed to raise the rent this year. Bastards ( Read more... )

There is really no easy way of doing this. The best you can do is be honest, but BE FIRM! Tell him you had a nice time with him, but that you don't see it going anywhere or turning into anything serious. Leave it at that & DON'T offer to hang out ... that will only prolong the exposure and make it harder to make a clean break. Either he accepts it or he doesn't. Hopefully he'll take it nicely and just move on. If he doesn't, particularly if he gets angry or hostile, then get out of there & away from him QUICK! That's even more of a sure fire sign that HE doesn't need to be in a relationship right now. ~hugs~ Good luck. =)

Never ever let "guilt" or pity make you do something for someone that makes you uncomfortable.

It's not doing anybody any favours. At its most charitable, it's enabling. It could be much worse.
