It wasn't intentional leveraging actually, I was seriously looking for employment elsewhere. While I do think I need to update my book and resume.... because it hasnt been in a long while, I am happy with how this has manifested and Im motivated to push forward. There have been some humblingly positive encouragements and kudos sent my way from all over the company .... like any relationship, if you don't remind them all the reasons why you appreciate them....they will leave, and rightly so....as in business as in love as in life. The employment climate is set for a 'boom'...I think employers are starting to realize that they need to take good care of their employees or they WILL leave...there are a LOT of opportunities out there...and soon to be MORE!

I am enjoying muchly your photos from your trip, friendly-envy, am so glad you are sharing! I cultivated a deep affinity for the land whilst in SF...and practically LIVED in Japantown! The Japanese Gardens here in PDX, while no replacement for the real deal, is a very special place for me.
