I actually enjoyed "Thor: Ragnarok", much better than the first Thor, or the two Avengers films I've seen. (I never saw Dark World or Ultron.) It took a little too long to get started, but once it did it was goofy fun. Though whoever said that Hela would have been a more formidable opponent if she'd used manipulation rather than terror to conquer Asgard wasn't wrong, IMO.

Hmm, what else? I'm loving "Supergirl" this year. "The Flash" is silly, which is better than MANPAIN, I think. I can't stand Ralph. Enjoying "Riverdale," "The Good Place," "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." "Jane the Virgin" is frustrating because I love it but I'm sure I know what its end game is, and that's not what I want.

It feels weird not to be doing Yuletide, or any other fannish exchange, this year. But I know I made the right choice. I haven't written anything since the end of last year. Occasionally I feel the flicker of an urge, but it goes away once I open a blank Word doc. :\ It's been a busy year. I've taken on a lot more duties at the university (without a raise, which sucks, but nobody's getting raises), and I'm hiking up a storm. My relationship from the summer has kind of fallen by the wayside, and I don't know how I feel about that.
