TV shows and going to kid birthday parties are my social life at the moment. I am enjoying Glee even though the writing is vapid. Friday Night Lights meets my drama and Texan accent fix. I am loving what they've done with this season -- sending the coach to a new school etc. But I am feeling that the depiction of the "bad" (i.e. people of color)

I would say that Glee plots are vapid, but not the writing.
Some of the scenes with Kurt and his father have brought me to tears.

I like it when Glee veers into "Afterschool Special" territory. Kurt's dad is fantastic. I wish more people in the real world were like that character.

As I said on Facebook about Lost.. loved the ride, didn't so much like the destination. I was ready not to be wowed by the finale, but I wasn't prepared to have it be such a downer. However, explaining the last 4 seasons and how it ended would be impossible! I'm told that if you remember the end of Titanic, it was pretty much like that.
