Next week, the week before Thanksgiving, is Spirit Week at Aislin's school. Monday is crazy hair day -- I think we'll go with purple and gold since those are her school colors -- Tuesday is Pajama Day and Wednesday is school colors day. The thing you have the first graders doing sounds hard. I'd have a hard time doing it here.
How many kids are in the classroom?
When I was in first grade we did a project where the teacher made a long table out of paper on the back wall of the classroom- like just the silhouette- nothing fancy.
Then the kids had to make the food (turkey, corn, rolls)and candle sticks and pies and cakes and we all got to go up front and tape our dish to the wall over the table and we were so proud of ourselves we all about fucking exploded. I don't know how we decided who made what... maybe we pulled it out of a hat. I don't know. But we drew them, cut them out and colored them and it was mega fun.

The classes are all about 28 kids.
