That was the rule in our house--no TV. my mom thought it discouraged us from faking it since staying home=nothing but bed.

It has never occurred to her to fake being sick! (yet) She loves school. I suppose I'll have to change the rules at some point.

The first time we ever let Suley watch a kids' show was when we all three had the stomach flu. We were so weak we couldn't imagine anything else. He was 2. We put on Backyardigans and he was rapt. He thought it was heaven.

Annie can watch all the TV she wants when she is sick. Like Aislin, she loves school too much to fake being sick.
