I posted this at work, and I'm lucky enough to be the one who picks the music. Also, I'm lucky in that Led Zeppelin is my coworker's favourite band. :))
i used to fall asleep in my clothes all the time in high school (probably because i had to get up at 6:20 every day), and i'd wake up at two in the morning with all the lights still on and the seams from my jeans imprinted all over my legs. it was silly.
anyway, i love the contrasts here between Dean, who's all exhausted and in a state of collapse, and Sam, who's all pacing-and-strained-tendons-in-his-neck tense. and there's so much promise in that "Sammy" at the end, somehow, which is fantastic.
My family has a habit of going to take naps after lunch on Sunday; I usually end up just reading for a while, but sometimes I fall asleep in my regular clothes and I concur re. seam imprints. :)
And I'm so pleased you like that. ♥♥ I have to admit that I'm really fond of that ending. :)

Second, the drabble: beautiful. Like song lyrics with atmosphere, or atmosphere with lyricism, something I can't quite touch but can still breathe in.

Ooh, it's like the edge of a dramatic shift here, this last line. I love that sense of dangling toward some kind of doom here. :)
