So fantastic! It's sweet without being too schmoopy, but I can't tell you really why. I think it's because they just sound believably, realistically, wonderfully happy!
This was also hella funny too, I must admit.
... what I wouldn't give to be that security guard, srsly.
Ha! I laughed like a loon near the end, both at the worldly janitor and at Sam being the one to remember to steal. *g* This just completely made my day. Thank you.
first of all, my mom and i have been wondering idly (mostly in the aisle of the supermarket with the salt...) where they buy the salt from, so i kicked my heels with glee right from the beginning with your shopping list. (and blankets! and chocolate! and comics! and copper wire! [i've always wanted to make myself a necklace with copper wire.])
the "did i say brother? i meant lover!", followed by asldfk conspiratorial murmurming and The guard would have made a face, but he was a professional., oh so hilarious and perfect. seriously, it's gorgeous, very vivid and i'm still snickering

You know, I kind of always wondered about that, too. I mean, where does one purchase huge giant bags of salt, anyways? I think the last time I was that was in a hardware store, or possibly a feed shop. Hmm. We never see them buy anything, or doing anything really domestic, except for maybe eating. Where is that laundry scene we've both been craving? ;)
My dad would get mad at me because I would nab the copper wire and wrap it around pencils to make them shiny. ♥
I'm so happy that it made you giggle, I don't usually try to be funny or snarky because I'm so afraid that it's going to fall flat, and I'm glad that it didn't, and teehee, oh yes. :)
thank you. Sometimes it seems like stories all sort of... fall together, you know? Until they are one big blur of fic, and everything is spelled out and clear, and I like that sometimes but sometimes I want it to feel all sedimentary, hehe. Just... thank you. :D
