Ah, I thought I saw--
...No, it was nothing.
I found a notebook, at least. I feel better writing with a pen than with this keyboard, honestly.
Nice to be able to keep some private thoughts that way.
...Lilly, could you show me that symbol now?

You probably did, only in this town that's not necessarily a good thing.
I'm sorry I didn't say hello to you sooner.
I'm Captain Pierce, and I will be your doctor for this evening.
Actually, from what I've seen so far I'm the only doctor left in town.
So you have two daughters here? How did they manage to wander loose?

No problem. It's nice to meet to you. Should I call you captain?
I'm Harry. Harry Mason. Where you from?
Ah, yeah. Kind of a long story about Alessa and Cheryl.

I'm from Crabapple Cove, Maine.
By way of Uijeongbu.
I'm sure you're aware of the weird set of events that's been dropping people here out of various times and places. I got pulled out of the Korean war.
I'd like to go back. Not...to the Korean war, that is, but to Crabapple Cove.

Maine? Nice area. I'm from Portland myself. Almost anywhere is better than Silent Hill, though.
Still, it's at least nice to have a doctor here -- but I wish none of us were here, all the time. Sorry you're dragged into this.

Anyway, it looks like we need to do some research -- but I wouldn't know where to begin. Maybe I should talk to Alessa.

Do you think she'd know? I mean, I'm not exactly sure on her entire story.

...Well. Alessa was used a few years ago for a ritual, so the Order could give birth to God. It was Alessa's mother's idea -- Dahlia Gillespie. So Alessa was raised in the cult, but I don't think she shares their sentiments, like Vincent.
I trust her. I really do. She's... sort of my daughter.
