I'm not sure in all the time I've been here- I only returned recently myself, you see- I'm not sure I've encountered any children. Chances are what with the quirky nightfall we're having and such they may have all been taken to a neighboring town. Have you tried Brahams, perhaps?

Look, I don't want to alarm you or anything.... but there's a crazy woman here. Tall, white hair, ghastly fashion sense? Her name is Claudia and I have it on good account that she's a bitch witch. She probably eats children, or makes them do extra homework, or feeds them past midnight, or something else contemptable and utterly nasty.

I wouldn't be surprised if she's after your daughter right now... a good sharp blow to the head repeatedly with a heavy blunt object might slow her down, is my suggestion.
