You would be amazed at what you can find the good will stores in the area. I personally wouldn't buy underwear there, but you can find a very decent pair of shoes for four bucks. The one by/behind Kmart is the best.
Drop forty bucks there and you have a wardrobe.
They are not all crappy clothes, the gems are in there. Those nice clothes that I wore at the bookstore? All Goodwill.
Then of course there is the Salvation Army's Super Store, Lytton springs, Fridays and Saturdays are half off. Sunday is closed. They have tons of clothes, good ones too. The only problem is it is in healdsburg--but if you happen to be in the area, it's worth a look.
