[If you knew of the events on the Flying Pussyfoot in December 1931 or the true reason behind his alias, Vino, you'd have a hard time distinguishing the tavern from the conductor car on the Flying Pussyfoot or just a normal everyday hit. The walls are covered in the blood of the drone patrons and co-workers and so is ( Read more... )

[The Captain had choices to make. The Milkman was someone he wanted to kill.

But Ken told him not to make that sort of choice lightly.

So, The Captain decided to get good and drunk first. Then go after Milkman.

...

He walks in on the aftermath of the massacre and just freezes a moment.]

What... the... ☠☠☠☠?

[Claire...no...the Rail Tracer for lack of a better name turns around and smiles apologetically at the man. It's a bit unnerving given the blood.]

Hey there! Sorry about the mess.

Did you do this?

Who the ☠☠☠☠ are you?

[Yeah, unnerving to say the least.

Still, he's balking.]

Nope, not at all. Mr. Jones accidentally cut himself on a broken glass and I just came over to help. [Only not...]

My name's Claire, Claire Stanfield!

[Well, hello fellow killdrone! Amakusa's got a nice arrangement of stolen guns and knives himself. He waves at you, with that darling drone smile.]

Hey there! Lovely weather, isn't it?

[He's got a rifle ready, pointed at Claire's forehead.]

It most certainly is. It's probably the best day we've had all year. [Funny, Amakusa has a pistol pointed at him as well.]

Oh, definitely. It makes living in good old Mayfield even greater than it already is. I should take my son out to the park for a game of catch.

[He stares at the pistol, then smiles again at Claire. Amakusa adjusts his aim, making sure that the bullet's going right between Claire's eye, before pulling the trigger.]

You know I should do that too one o' these days. That little scamp of mine has been wanting to hang out with his good ol' pop forever.

[Normal Claire would read the trajectory and dodge the bullet. Sadly, drone Claire isn't that smart and calculated, and the bullet ends up hitting it's mark. But before getting hit, he did he managed to pull the trigger on his pistol by a split second.]

[Kiritsugu's not killdroned. Not anymore, anyways. He wants to act like he is, since that would net him a few extra seconds, but he knows he doesn't have the demeanor of one.]

[Running away would end badly, as well.]

[Quietly, he starts drawing his own gun, the S&W Model 59, one of the two he has been carrying around the last couple of days.]

[Claire turns around holding his own gun. Even though it might seem like it...he didn't know he was there.]

Hmm?

Hello. Fine weather we're havin', isn't it?

[By now, Kiritsugu's holding his own gun straight ahead as well. He knows very well that shooting someone with a gun anywhere but the head will only hurt him, so he's subtly trying to line up the shot into an instantly fatal spot.]

[Luckily, unlike its prior version, the 59 has adjustable sights, which aid Kiritsugu in that task. It took several modifications of his own to get it working properly, considering the model shouldn't have been invented until 20 years in Mayfield's future, but fortunately, apart from the parabellum cartridge and feed system, the 59 doesn't differ that much from the 39, which was widely available in the 50s.]

[It's stronger, though. That could come handy.]

Oh I see, your the silent type, eh?

[He inches closer until he's close enough to kick the gun out of his hands.]
