anyone see V last night? I thought it was ok, but without spoiling anything for those who havent watched it and are planning to, my only complaint is i would of liked to have seem more of the story of the day they actually arrived....they might do flashbacks of course if its anything like Lost, but i just thought they jumped ahead too far and ( Read more... )

I didn't watch, but from other reviews, it seems like they skipped over a lot of the build up to learning who the visitors were and what they wanted. Meh. I'm not really interested in the concept. Morena Baccarin is great and all, but I've got too much other tv on my schedule to watch just for her. Let me know if it gets really great and maybe I'll check it out on DVD or something.

yah, i would of liked it if it took like 3-4 or more episodes of them actually arriving on the first day. it didnt actually say, but i think last night must of showed weeks and weeks passed by, maybe months....i think they could of built it up more, but they basically dove right into who is who, and basically the entire story...i cant see this lasting very long. It wasnt bad or anything, but i think they just skipped too far ahead to quickly. maybe they did it quickly because they know they might not last and tried to get in as much as possible so they can atleast say they had an actual show. But i think it would of been better to let it drag on more and create a build up....like Lost's first season i think it was so successful because it gave the viewer very little info in the beginning and you wanted to keep watching it to find out more....with V, they basically covered about 5-6 things in full already, so your not at the edge of your seat waiting for the next episode...and espeically its a re-make, so you already know the ending ( ... )
