i was looking up the lyrics for an 80's song by Nena called "luftaballons" or "99 red ballons" and saw that there was a german version and an american version but the american version was loosely translated so i found the direct translation and thought it was pretty cool... so i thought i'd share.

Yeah, the german verision is really political, but they turned it into just another nonsnse pop song when they did the english version.
