What is a promise?

This question I gave myself at 3:30 last night. Because Thomas still wasn't home.. When he left he said we'll be back in a coupple of hours.. In my mind a coupple of hours is 2 maybe 3 hours, but not 3:30 in the morning!!!!! I was angry, because he had promised, in my mind, to come home and then they would watch some movies with me after they had

I know exactly what you mean... I also think a promise is a promise - like with Friday night, and Martin said he would write me from his christmas-lunch, and then he didn't for a very long time... he only wrote after I asked if he had forgotten what he promised *sigh* I guess men are just like that, we put much more into words than they do, but still - I know they can't read our minds, and we can't read their mind, they should still show they care in such situations...

Well, not yet.. Hewent to his stepdad to help him with something and I havn't spoken with him, yet... but I will. And after that it'll be ok again.. I'm just so tiered of it. It's not he first time he sais only a beer and then stay out the entiere night. MEN!
