Once was startled into a small shriek, nearly dropping his toothbrush.

"Dude, you almost gave me a heart attack."

He tried to smile a bit, hoping to distract Gordon. "why're you up?"

"I had a bit of insomnia. You're avoiding my question," as if that was going to dissuade him from getting curious. "Why are you running?"

"Can't a guy pack a change of clothes in the middle of the night without an inquisition?" Once-ler sighed dramatically, packing his toothbrush and socks.

"If you can't sleep, try warm milk, cinnamon, and honey."
