I agree with this 110%.

Arguing over the characters/actors is childish, and having tantrums ('fantrums') every time The Finder is mentioned is ridiculous.

And in this case, shifting to January is probably better for the show. People thought the world was ending last year with TDitP's ratings, but they want to repeat it this year?
