Nate has adopted a little visitor at his front door. A orb weaver.. even going as far as to move it to the back yard when the pest control people come by this week.

I've never seen one before but now i am seeing them all over, so maybe even later today i am going hunting for one so i can get pictures. They are really cool looking.

I did see a web in a tree in one of the shopping centers by the mall. hopefully they will still be there today.

Sorry, had to clarify..it was a spiney orb weaver. Looks like a zelda villian. haha.

Is this your spider? It's sometimes called the Smiley Face Spider, and as you saw, it lives in trees a lot. It does kinda remind you of those Gold Skulltulas, doesn't it?

VERY close unless they can come in different colors. I will relook when i get a second and match up the latin names. It looks just like that save for a white skull or smiley face and red spikes. Neat guys though.
