I guess there must've just been a crossing of the wires in LJ Server Land. Which is something I should've considered instead of flying off the handle right away. Lesson learned.

Weird.. I looked to see if there was an update on Friday and hadn't seen anything odd, must have happened saturday or sunday. All i could think of by the description is a pic of Santa chillin' out during his off time, waiting for the holiday hussle and bussle to start up again. "Oh man... almost that time. I should have started going to the gym earlier or something.. i think i've put on weight or something.." *looks on the arm of the couch to find a old half eaten chicken wing* "..uh...maybe i'll finish watching this show. I think i have some time.." Falls back into the couch under his massive weight. "Uuuhhh...yeah, this is comfy."

Heh, well, at least I know it probably wasn't like that all month, then. Actually, the person in the picture seemed more on the thin side, black beard with an afro. I'd almost say he looked like Jim Croce, but I wouldn't call him any of those nasty things I said. Maybe more like a poor man's Lenny Kravitz or some coffee house regular. It was black and white, and I couldn't tell if he was half under a blanket or just had a coat over his lap. In any case, it sure as Hell wasn't Thog.

I saw the picture now a few comments above me. Looks kind of like a pot-head slash scenester. I cans see a little of Jim there too. The poor guy's ears are burning from people getting pissed that HIS photo shows up on their page, probably little known to him.

If there's a place somewhere on their servers where our photos have been given the same ID, maybe somewhere *he's* saying, "I want to know WHO the FLYING *FUCK* went INTO my account, and changed my main userpic to this...whatever this blue thing is?!"

By the way, tonight and early tomorrow will be our last chances to play WoW together before I leave for NekoCon for a few days. You've been quiet lately on that front. Busy RL, or just enjoying some solo play?

I've had my icon suddenly turn into something else as well, then eventually fix. Some friends of mine have as well. (Never all of us at the same time though). It seems to be some burp in the servers or something?

Thanks. As I told Snack above, I think I've gone too long without a damn good rant. I do get to speak my mind at work around the right people, of course. It isn't, like, Orwellian there, but too often, the objects of my displeasure are around and it'd just turn into a similar kind of fiasco like my friend is facing.

Yeah, I remember those days. Shame on them. I was pretty starved to know how you were doing for a while!
