I saw three big shooting stars last night even though I was late for the peak of the Leonids.  It was nice to sit on my porch in the middle of town and be able to see the night sky.  I didn't make any wishes.  There was nothing I wanted at the moment ( Read more... )

Maybe you were sad because you sensed I was deathly ill. I am thinking now it was the flu, but it was such a terrible headache that I thought it was a migraine. It made me throw-up a lot, and for awhile I was convinced there was all sorts of swelling at the base of my skull. Now I am just sore all over and very weak.
I want to see your mary, it sounds so pretty.

Yes, you need to see the whole room. The print you gave me one year will be in it. I actually chose the rooms colors to match with it.

I think that an object need not be religious simply because it features religious iconography. As you said, it has a lot to do with your roots, as well. An item that might have held specific symbolism for one individual can come to mean something much different to another person. If it allows you a way to feel a connection to your heritage or your great grandmother, and you don't find the picture aesthetically displeasing, then I say put it up.
