Things have been quiet, lately. After the night in the bar he's aware he's crossed a line, so he's retreated to the dark controllessness of her mind, quietly watching her as she goes about her life. He's so quiet these last few days that he wonders if she thinks he's gone entirely

Blue eyes open half-lidded, nostrils involuntarily twitching at the scents wafting near. Thoughts muddled with sleep take their time with the simplistic as she stretches within the covers.

A blink.

He made her breakfast.

Ororo picks up the coffee, letting the scent tickle her nose a little before taking a sip. She eyes it for a minute until finally venturing, "You can come out. I'll behave."

"I don't think, out of the two of us, you're the one I should be accusing of misbehavior." They take a sip of coffee. Awake and alive enough inside her to taste the bitterness of it, not enough to take control again.

"Did you sleep well?"

She eyes a newspaper that had been slipped beneath the door. "I think we've established that there are no saints in this room. I did. No dreams." Which means she'll owe him for that eventually. But she'd rather focus on the simple things. "What about yourself?"

"I have plenty of time to sleep. I'm fine. What's the news today?" If he won't move her body for her he'll at least tell her what he wants her to do.
