Well... Jason and I did it... we qualified to go to Nationals. Now the only problem is.... it's going on right in the middle of MOFAA. And the letter clearly states that there are to be no absences from the campus for any reason. It's 5:24 and I've been up for about a half-hour now. I'm ready to go to Districts... mentaly. physcally.... I've still got some stuff to get done just yet. I need to do my hair, brush my teeth, etc. My haircut looks awesome, though. I got it done yesterday. It's a razor-cut and I'm loving it. It's so much easier to style. Well... I'm off!!!!

Well... I'm getting up at 5 tomorrow to be ready in time for the bus for NFL tomorrow. I'm quite nervous. I'm rocking it out right now, though.... I swear I love this song. So... Jaosn and I are doing Duo tomorrow and I'm doing LD. So... yeah... crazy, crazy nerves right now.

I qualified to go to State in two different events!!! Jason and I took third in duet (defying convention by doing Duo in a Duet entry). And I AM DISTRICT CHAMPION IN PROSE READING!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I swear I am so excited!!! Marshfield is taking 6 of our 9 entries to state.... that is AWESOME ( Read more... )

So... I'm currently looking into the future of my life. Now... I know that Musical Theatre is EXACTLY what I want to do. I truly believe that that is where I was meant to be, where I was destined to be. But I'm considering minoring... or possibly double-majoring in Fashion Design. Well, I'm home sick today. I kinda over-extended myself at the Willow Springs tournament. I did well though. I got first in Duet acting, first in Prose reading, and first in Storytelling. I love this musical so much... it's one of Sondhiem's best... I love his work. It's so amazingly well written. Joanna Gleason totally deserved the Tony for her performance... although Bernadette Peters was spectacular (of course, as always) and perfect. I totally love this show...

My sister and I had a fight this afternoon. I remained fairly calm throughout the ordeal, whereas my sister was hitting me, pulling my hair, pushing, etc. the entire time.
