my god, suddenly it is fall. the temp is down, rain is finally showing up. At long last, I tells ya.

so school official starts for all the lil ones today and i swear it seems like the streets are crowded with kids...where were they all hiding during the summer. i can barely move without steping on them all!

Well Ashlan had the fantastic luck of stepping on a bee the other day. Well, we're back....did some vacationing way out in BC and boy is my groin tired. Waterskiing, really, i suppose it really is attempted waterskiing really but still. Beavers and butterflies and burgers and boisterous boys later it was a vacation...i'll write it up and figure out the pic thing and such soon. me

ahhhhh first bbq of the year!! so nice in such a trashed backyard....we have to do so much mowing and trimming and rock lifting and tilling and so on and so on. but still it was great and warm and the bbq still works without falling apart. wonderful ( Read more... )

on saturday we attempted what can only be called spring cleaning and learned that we truly live in a disgusting pig sty. it was the kind of cleaning where we scrubbed stairs and cleaned the handle of stove and fridge...but man the foulness revealed!! we found mold, we found spores, we found nasty old dried cat piss, we found bits of food the boys ( Read more... )
