Today was Sentosa day! Got up about mid-morning, and eventually left the house at about 12noon. Went to Jurong Point and had lunch at the food court. Spent yesterday going round the City Hall area. Saw all sorts of places like Chijmes, which used to be a convent school or something, but is now shops and bars :p, St Andrews Cathedral, the Supreme Court, and Raffles Hotel. Today was a day of wandering around shops in Takashimaya, biiig shopping area, or seemed so to me at least :p Karen seemed to know her way around there incredibly well though ;p. As you may have guessed, I'm here in Singapore now! Journey went pretty good, no delays, no lost luggage. Pretty much all went according to plan. Was interesting when landing in Dubai at 11:30pm to the announcement "the current outside temperature is 35 degrees celsius"! Glad I didn't have to go outside there :p . Well, here I am at Birmingham Internation departure lounge. All I got to do now is wait for my flight. This is my first long-haul, so I'm not really sure what to expect. Just looking forward to getting to Singapore really. Can't wait to get there....can't wait to see her.......

Been a bit of an odd one, this weekend. Good thing is, it was a 3 day weekend :D I love bank holidays!!
