I actually didn't care very much when I started reading - I have no idea what got me through the early volumes because the Earl was funny but didn't engage me and Allen was just... there. But then later volumes happened! And he wanted to save everybody, and -- summary: Allen's actually pretty awesome and I am v. fond of him. ♥

Good grief, that took forever. And Derpminé is your fault so I'm glad you like it!

1. The first character I fell in love with: Mm... Rinoa.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: ... Squall. >_>
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Quistis. I understand that she's a tough lady with a whip, but on the other hand she spent the first half of the game pining for Squall and the other half trying to set him up. I'm getting mixed messages on the toughness.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Rinoa. I love Rinoa, and not just because the person who introduced me to the game brainwashed me to love her. She is genuinely a brat, a quirky, absurd idealist, and she grows out of it and learns to fight for herself, which is just - lovely. I love Rinoa.
5. The character I would shag anytime: None of the above.
6. The character I'd want to be like: Zell. Not completely, but it'd be nice to have some reckless enthusiasm and total confidence and be pissed off properly when someone calls me chickenshit

You didn't know? The friend who introduced me to the game pointed it out. There's no real canon, no, but if you look closely while you're wandering her castle, you'll see hints. Also, I think, she's wearing Griever (Squall's lion pendant), or has a similar-looking symbol near her or somesuch. And her music theme sounds a bit like a certain other theme. Just a bunch of hints!

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Luke. He's what they call a jesus-type, I don't get very attached to those.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Prooobably Arietta, assuming people love her. I like her, and I would kill for one at Poly, but there's just not very much to her character besides being moe and stuttery.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Natalia is awesome, but considering she has her Imperial Brat stage at the beginning too, I imagine she's got her fair share of haters.
