You are left with nothing but the pieces of your former self and have no other option other than to pick those pieces up and keep going. Ask yourself, what if the people that shattered you into a million pieces destroy every piece you pick up? What then? How do you carry on when ( Read more... )

You still have your soul. And no one and nothing can destroy that except yourself. shattering your formerself only leaves your soul feeling naked. Be like in the Emperors new cloths and pick up your naked soul and wear it proudly!

I do not have my soul, nor do I have my heart. Beth does. And when most I needed her I found that she, though not intentionally, was not there. All I had were the few pieces that I did not pick up, the ones I left where they were and watched to see if they would shatter by themselves. Luck has kept them where they are. If I did not have those I would be completely lost.

Of course you do for all you see is love. Love makes you blind to the ugliness of another person. And it can make you blind to the fact that you are seeing only a shadow of that person.

what if love doesnt make you blind but rather shows you how to see complete beauty, even within the ugliness? what if love allows you to see ugliness and beauty and still unconditionally love someone?

on may 13, 2005 you said to me:

The only person who can get you out of the funk you are in... is you. It is your choice, you can hold on to a dream which will probably drive you insane or you can let go and become someone different, maybe better, maybe worse. It is like playing with fire, sometimes you come out looking amazing and sometimes you get burned. The choice is yours. You can be content either way but whether you are happy... again, it is all on you. Happiness is as much a choice as it is a state within which we live.

EGBAR Eric...trust me
