So I've figured out one of the reasons I get frustrated with the Moff's Who. That reason is: OMG I have no idea what on earth is going on and I know I won't until the whole frikking season is over! Argh!

I think that after the honeymoon adventures with the Doctor (nudgenudge winkwink knowwhatimean ;P) they went home for the real honeymoon and to live with each other for a while. That's what I assumed :)

That does makes sense. I guess it just rubbed me up the wrong way slightly cause I spent a lot of time before the show came back going: 'Married people in the TARDIS, this is of the good people!'. And then we come back and oh no they are at home and getting almost sent home by the Doctor because they should be making babies now that they are married. :-P

Lol I doubt that was it. I imagine that after all the terror and excitement and adventure and stress, Amy and Rory wanted some romantic time to themselves. Plus they probably wanted to start their life together. Adventures with the Doctor has always been escapism for Amy, a holiday from life. And for Rory it meant something not that great. So I doubt they'd want to stay in the Tardis too long after they got married. But the Doctor said he'd contact them, so their adventures are obviously far from over.

Think of it like Peter Pan and Wendy. It's a very similar concept.

Also I am unsure about Amy being pregnant... and why were Amy and Rory not having exciting space adventures with the Doctor? When did they decide that? Were they trying to get pregnant and thought, hang on maybe being permenantly in danger is not the best atmosphere for this? I don't know. Is this one of the things that we aren't meant to know? Is it just something we should take as read? Should I be annoyed? What?!

I am hoping it's a thing. A thing in which, like, it's actually a part of the story, why she and Rory aren't on the TARDIS in the beginning - meaning, the timey-wimeyness begins BEFORE the beginning if the episode. This would be awesome.

Also, yes, it was - I don't know? Annoying, awesome, amazing, exciting. And I shipped Eleven/River for the first time in my life, and shipped them like burning.

I thought it might be that to. Like they could have been stuck in 1969 already, and the Doctor was trying to get back to them through history. I don't know... or something.

I do want there to be reason that isn't just 'Married people don't have adventures they make babies.'

There was so much Eleven/River getting shit under the radar here. I mean: 'I'm a screamer' You know, for kids!

I love how messed up their relationship is, so continuing the theme of the Doctor changing and creating peoples lives.

Yeah, but then River goes and says that the Doctor died in 2011. I really do get the feeling that this season is just going to be one long puzzle.

Some very good lines, none of which I can remember

Personally I loved "They're Americans!" Actually, just about every exchange between River & the Doctor was fabulous.

I actually really enjoyed seeing the Ponds at home. I'm not sure about the pregnancy bit--there are clues that Amy's pregnant before the aliens appear, but there are also clues that her pregnancy is alien-induced, and I'm inclined to lean toward the latter for now. Waiting to see...and very much enjoying the ride.

Yes! Loved that line. Almost the perfect summing up of Brits in America. I liked 'I'm a screamer' too, just for the sheer getting shit past the radarness of it.

I think that I will enjoy the ride, I mean I hung on through all the seasons of Lost with no idea what was going on, I'm just not used to Doctor Who doing that complicated season arc/mystery thing yet.

I'm also leaning toward alien induced, or just alien mind fuckery making Amy think she is, I mean this is TV world and in TV nausea in a women means pregnancy. I don't know, I think this is going to be another season when we will need to do a rewatch as soon as it is over.
