Well, we got a Yule Tree this year. Our senior cats have seen this phenomenon before, but Neil was pretty young - and the three new kitties have never had a water bowl with such an over-the-top garnish before. Last year, between socializing the kittens and having the garage be a complete disaster, we never got around to digging out the Yule

OK, the mental image of you standing there with a leather apron and welder's mask on, pacing around the tree asking, "Did I miss anything?" is totally cracking me up.

I remember the year you & B lent us the golden apples, which Nikolai could not resist....

Plastic ornaments pretending to be glass are what we've got, in hopes they'll be toddler-safe. We've never had a tree before, because we always flew home for Christmas.
